APiD made the 1st edition of Japanese version of Priority Pathogen List (PPL) in March 2021. The Japanese PPL was prepared by APiD members and was approved by 7 Academic Society and the Drug Discovery Promotion Review Committee. The pathogen lists by WHO (2017 version) and CDC (2019 version) are shown together with the Japanese PPL to make it easier to compare.

Approaches from new view points consider to be supported regardless the listed pathogens recognizing that innovative breakthrough is always required in R&D on AMR.
